| | | | Schools Slash Budgets While the Fed Slashes What? | | | | | Schools across the nation are slashing huge percentages of their budgets in order to maintain any semblance of fiscal responsibility. Millions of children are being affected by these tremendous cuts. In turn, our future economy and our livelihood will be in the hands of these kids who will not be taught what they should learn in an environment conducive to learning.
In the interim, the federal government is currently slashing hundreds of millions of dollars. But what portion of the budget is that really?
Check out what an enterprising college student did. He created a simple but eloquent visualization of what the federal budget really looks like and what hundreds of millions of dollars in cuts really means.
This is amazing. Absolute genius in its simplicity. We should be educating our children such that they will have the problem solving skills to be able to one day create this kind of a video. Watch it twice so it really sinks in. | |

 | | | | | | | Well an amazing presentation indeed. Slashing the budget would just mean that the opportunity for standard education would cease to exist. The government certainly needs a re look into this policy. |
