iPolitics interviewed Tim Cox, founder of Goooh.com, which stands for “Get Out Of Our House” and aims to replace Congressional incumbents with everyday citizens. The Goooh movement has gotten a lot of attention lately for its unique grassroots strategy for recruiting, selecting and electing people to office.

For Part 1 of our interview, we discuss what inspired Goooh and why the organization is determined to swap out Congressional incumbents with average Americans - regardless of their political leanings.

Goooh for it guys! I will support you as much as I can.

I'm thinking though, will a normal person who will replace the politicians study about the law or will the law be replaced as well?

Good question...hmm...don't know really. It's obviously a strong pitch to expect to oust all 435 members of Congress in one election, but it gets the message across; the people are fed up.

Even if just one really strong member of Congress can elected through this GOOOH process, it's a victory for the people and for activism. Neither party is getting the job done as is.

That's a goooh...I mean good effort. The question is, do they really mean it? Is it politically possible to replace those career politicians with the everyday citizens they recruit?
