German Company Perfecting Traffic Cameras

As tax revenues continue to decline, expect more municipalities to purchase (with YOUR money) these devices to generate increased tickets.

They even make armored cameras as some citizens have been known to shoot at them from time to time. Sounds a bit like SkyNet if you ask me.

What's next, a chip that monitors your breathing and renders an air usage tax?

I love the SkyNet example with people shooting these down. It is sort of funny and scary at the same time. While I don't think these are evil robots trying to destroy mankind, I do think it is a great example of how governments are using technologies to invade our lives.
