It's hard to believe that Rather was being racist but you never know. Maybe he should have used a different fruit instead of watermelon. :)

I don't find that to be a racist comment. I mean, sure, I get the correlation, but I sincerely doubt Rather intended it that way. We have become so PC as a society that we are jumping on people for every little thing.
