Sean Penn doing his best to educate the world on Hugo Chavez. Penn criticizes both Republicans and Democrats for their condemning of Chavez.

How to put this simply... Sean Penn... is an idiot.

It's funny how he doesn't mention how Chavez added more seats to the Venezuelan Supreme Court and then filled it with his boys. Effectively taking over the courts (I wonder how Penn would feel about a U.S President doing this, and then having the courts rule against gay marriage or abortion?).

He doesn't mention how Chavez has enacted rules so the media can't be "disrespectful" or "insulting" of the government (HA! Imagine, Sean Penn living by that one during the Bush years).

And he doesn't have a problem with Chavez eliminating term limits so that he can continue to be President for as long as he wishes (I wonder what Penn would say if Bush had done that?).

And if the elections are so fair, why is Venezuela rated 162 out of 179 by Transparency International?

He is dictator in all but name. So was Julius Caesar and many others.

A few of these Hollywood nutcases like Sean Penn and Danny Glover have to gone to Venezuela where Chavez treated them like Gods and showed them the Venezuela HE wanted them to see. And these fools bought it. 95% of Americans know the real deal here and laugh at these clowns.

Yeah, it is a proof that little knowledge is dangerous. He just speak much more than what he really knew. Give him a mirror so he will be aware that he has two eyes, two ears, two nostrils and one mouth. He should sees, hears and smells more and speaks less.

Wow, Sean Penn is a very interesting guy at the very least. I really don't agree with him, but he strikes me as someone quite intelligent. I just don't understand his infatuation with Chavez; there are a lot of others world leader who are making a better impact on things.

Sean Penn is the exact reason I hate Hollywood liberals. All they know how to do is bash the United States. If he's such a big Hugo Chavez fan, why doesn't he move there and support him? Let's see how Penn would do without some of the freedoms he enjoys in the United States.

I agree with you independent, Sean Penn should move to Venezuela if he loves Chavez so much. Sean Penn is not so smart, he is supporting a communist man , a man who hurts his own people. Sean Penn should educate himself before he tries to educate others!

Sean Penn is an idiot, I don't know why he would support a man who hurts his own country. Sean Penn need to be a citizen over there in Venezuela and be a nobody and I'm sure he would change his mind about Chavez.
