And, he calls on the Democratic party to reach toward independents...someone is finally getting it...

If this isn't a wake-up call to Congress and the Democrats especially I don't know what is. Unfortunately, I don't think they are listing.

So many Democrats are dropping out of re-election bids it's strange.

The big losers in this are Obama, Pelosi and Reid. They really pushed their weight around to get the healthcare bill jammed down America's throat and underestimated the gag factor.

Pelosi in particular has lost so much credibility. I don't see a lot of Dems following her into the fire again.

Even Bayh has been the most vocal regarding his reasons for not running for re-election. He genuinely appears to be sick of Congress and the unproductive politics going on.

Glad he didn't pull any punches. He had a tremendous war-chest and still had a good shot at winning re-election, so he came off as sincere and genuinely frustrated.
