| | | | Clean Energy Now | | | | | This new ad reminds lawmakers of some of the obvious reasons why the United States needs clean energy solutions now, not tomorrow. Senators John Kerry (D-MA) and Joseph Lieberman (i-CT) have sponsored an energy and climate bill that isn't perfect, but pits additional Federal resources toward supporting clean energy initiatives. The bill is being considered in the Senate now. See the link for recent comments by Senators from both sides of the aisle.
Is this bill about redistribution of wealth or saving the planet? Is this bill overwhelmingly dominated by progressives with an alternate agenda or is this a smart truly bipartisan path for America?

 | | | | | | | Nothing meaningful in this area will happen until both parties are thrown out and new ones come on the stage.
New clean energy development takes capital, and the capital markets are drying up thanks to the Congressionally supported casino operations of the largest Wall Street banks. Easier to make money gambling with other people's money than to invest in r & d etc. |
